I guess Kupsas is missing…
shengela
Yes, he didn’t look very good at the Nets combine last week. We doubt he’ll be drafted.
Carl Berman
I see you have Stutz at 59. How likely do you think he gets drafted? The only reason I ask is because he’s your 2nd to last getting drafted.
ShockerHoops
Stutz played very well at Portsmouth. With the lack of true bigs in the NBA he has a chance, although probably not a real strong one. The end of the second round is pretty much wide open so I’d say he has about a 30-40% chance of being drafted.
Carl Berman
Thanks Carl. I think everyone in Shocker Nation is crossing their fingers with this. Any idea about Toure Murry out of WSU? I know he had a workout with LAL and possibly HOU.
ShockerHoops
We don’t think Murry will be drafted. Maybe he will be able to catch on with an NBA Summer League team and get a decent European deal.
Carl Berman
I highly doubt Bradley Beal will fall to 13
Lumi
This Mock Draft is based on our scouting evaluations, not based on team need. Beal will likely be picked in the top 5 from what we are hearing. But we think the team that drafts him will be “overpaying” for him.
Carl Berman
What about Trevon Harmon from Cleveland State, did I over rate him because I thought he had an NBA skill of shootin and played ok defense. Do you think that he will have a shot in the summer league?
Steven Siewert
Probably so, he’s a nice player but not quite at the NBA level.
Carl Berman
Pretty cool mock, but Cleveland will take Barnes at 4 and there’s absolutely no way the Kings take Sullinger at 5.
Austin
Our mock is based more on our scouting evaluation of players than based on team needs. But we”ll see what happens. I’m not as certain as you are about either of those selections.

Miles Plumlee seems to have impressed enough people in workouts that he is a second round lock. 41″ vertical.

[...] The NBA draft will be held this week and Wichita State’s Garrett Stutz has been one of the more impressive centers during the pre-draft workouts. Stutz was named to the All-Tournament team at the Portsmouth Invitational and is considered a “Sleeper” by many. One report lists him as a second rounder with “Mega-Potential” . The former Wichita State Shocker is projected as a likely Second Round NBA selection . [...]
