International Recruiting Service
NetScouts Basketball has been in the forefront of international basketball recruiting since 2008. We were one of the first recruiting services to exclusively scout international prospects. We primarily centered on Europe and covered all of the youth tournaments there, concentrating on all the FIBA youth events, the Adidas Next Generation tournaments, The Nordic Championships, the Albert Schweitzer tournament and others.
Lately the college recruiting framework has significantly changed. NCAA regulations have changed which allow for college coaches to scout sanctioned overseas events. The transfer portal has resulted in an emphasis of recruiting existing college athletics at the expense of incoming freshmen. And the capability of prospective college athletes to earn NIL income has further altered this recruiting landscape.
For those reasons we are terminating our international recruiting service at the close of the 2024-25 certification year. We would like to thank the over 80 schools that have subscribed to our service through the years. We hope we have added value to your recruiting efforts and we look forward to continue to work with you as our business transitions to other opportunities.
