The All-Tournament team for the Four Nations Challenge, in which the NetScouts Basketball Women’s USA All-Star team went undefeated, has been announced. The USA won all their nine games of the event. Here’s the Four Nations All-Tournament team:
MVP: Aulani Sinclair, USA. Sinclair averaged 11 points and three rebounds over the tour. She was the MVP in the first stop, Pingxiang, and was on the All-Tournament team at Chengdu. She had a high game of 22 points in the first game against Hungary in which she hit 6-of-12 three-pointers.
Tijana Krivacevic, Hungary. The 6’6 center averaged 13 points and 6.9 rebounds for the Hungarians. Krivacevic demonstrated a solid game with the ability to step out to 15 feet and strong post moves. She had a 22-pooint, 12-rebound effort in the first game against the USA.
Xiaojia Chen, China. The 5’11 guard was the most consistent player for China averaging 11.6 points with a high game of 20 points. She made two of the All-Tournament teams.
Talia Caldwell, USA. Of all the American posts, Caldwell was the most consistent, averaging 8.9 points and 6.3 rebounds showing quick feet and jumping ability in helping the USA dominate the boards in their nine wins.
Alexis Gray-Lawson, USA. Gray-Lawson averaged 11 points and 3.4 rebounds. She was the MVP in Changshu where she lead the USA past China for the third time as she made a key late steal and score in overtime..
Olivia Thompson, Australia. The 6’2 forward averaged 10.8 points and 4.8 rebounds. She had her best game in Australia’s first win over Hungary in which she totaled 19 points and seven rebounds, connecting on 9-of-13 from the field. Thompson showed a nice face-up game to 15 feet.
