Nathan Mensah

Excellent physical tools at 6’10” and a reported 7’4” wingspan to pair with a decent 220 frame.  Bouncy athlete who can finish above the rim vertically with ease.  Has some quick twitch athleticism reacting to ball trajectory off the glass.  Good feet moving laterally in space on defense when he actually sits down and has excellent range in straight lines especially as a rim-runner changing ends of the court.

Not a consistent floor spacer at this point but flashes fluid mechanics with his left hand high release from the midrange area and even beyond the arc at times.  Encouraging free throw percentage albeit a limited sample.  

Essentially a rim-running finisher and put back scorer at this stage.  Can lob catch and get off the floor quickly to finish.  Flashes average hands but does show ability to catch at high speeds and finish with both hands.  Does his best work high-pointing balls on the offensive glass with quick reaction time.

Solid rebounder who has the vertical athleticism and nose for the ball to be an impact player there.  Has good feet and range on defense and can block shots at the rim but fouls too much and plays upright defending in space too often.

Seems to have a good motor.

Mid-High Division 1.  Mensah is a bouncy fluid athlete who at the very least can cover ground in transition and defensively, which paired with his plus physical tools is a likely candidate for a mid-high range division 1 squad.
