Body and athleticism

Bouncy big guy with solid frame and good deal of athleticism for a European player. Has strong and well-developed upper and lower body. Takes up a lot of space in the paint. Runs the court very well and doesn’t take plays off.

Shooting

Scores his points within the paint or close to the basket, crashing the boards or off of the others. Has the potential to expand his shooting range out to 15-18 feet with time and repetitions, given the proper shooting mechanics from the charity stripe. It’s questionable, if he would be able to step out further soon.

Position and offense

Classic big man who does his damage close to the basket thanks to his solid frame and rebounding instincts. Displayed good feel for setting on/off ball screens. Potential to be a solid roller to the hoop in pick and roll actions. Could work on his post-up moves.

Defense and rebounding

Dessert is a solid rebounder thanks to his solid body and good instincts. Should cover the pick and roll actions better. Needs to work on his lateral footwork, as at times the game pass him by and be more active rim-protector.

Miscellaneous

Potential to be a double-double threat per 40 min. on a daily basis. His upside as a college player is obvious thanks to his impressive physical tools that would fit perfectly on high major level. Expanding the range of his shooting and improvement on the defensive end would increase his stock.
