We are expanding our tour offerings for the Summer of 2022. Tours are available to most of Europe’s top locations. We can customize your tour to your budget. Since we have minimal overhead we can guarantee the lowest price for a comparable tour.
NetScouts Basketball helps organize summer tours for college men’s or women’s teams. We are seeking schools to join us on a tour for Summer, 2022.
“Dribbling Through History” – Our tours to Italy can include trips to Rome, Florence and Venice, or any combination of those cities. We can arrange the tours for 25-30% less cost than the major US companies in this business. We can offer 3-5 games, gym time, 4 or 5-star hotels, food, excursions and sightseeing as well as possible tournaments against local club teams.
In Rome we have the option of staying at the Olympic Training Center. 4 or 5-star hotels would also be an option. Nicholas Zinzi, our local liaison, has helped in Italy with two college tours in 2019. Here’s our Italy presentation.
“Our Syracuse Men’s Basketball team took a foreign tour to Italy from August 10th-20th, 2019. …Nicholas Zinzi was one of the main contributors to our great experience. He was there night and day for our group and did whatever was needed. He was in constant communication with me every day to make sure that were satisfied and was always willing to help with anything and everything. It was a pleasure to work and get to know him. His experience helped make our trip even better. We are forever grateful for all of Nick’s hard work on this trip and couldn’t have asked for a better person to work with.” Pete Corasaniti, Syracuse University, Director of Men’s Basketball Operations
We have another package in Central Europe where we can offer a tour to Prague, Europe’s most beautiful city. This trip will be organized by one of the top travel agencies in the Czech Republic, Sagl Productions, and Julian Betko of GB Academy, who played in the states for Clemson and Butler. You can see the full presentation of the Prague tour here. We can combine Prague with trips to Budapest and Vienna or any combination of those three cities.
“This foreign trip was unforgettable for our student athletes. This was an incredible positive experience. I say incredible because I did not know the combination of beauty, history, hospitality and organization was possible. The sightseeing was amazing…The people we worked with were beyond great. We played against good level competition that was a significant challenge to our team and made us better” John Giannini, former Head Coach, LaSalle University
We also have a tour of the Balkans available which can include the Serbian cities of Belgrade and Novi Sad, Budapest, Ljubljana (Slovenia), and Zagreb (Croatia) or any combination of those cities. The Balkans are beautiful and a hotbed of basketball activity. You can see a possible itinerary here.
The Balkan tour is organized by the Grand Tours Agency, which is based in Serbia and has been in business for over 25 years and Dusan Kovacevic, a former collegiate player at Davidson. This is a very attractive trip at a very good price point. We don’t believe anyone else is doing tours of the Balkan countries. You can see the full presentation of the Balkan tour here.
We also have a variation of this tour with arrival and departure from Belgrade. but then heading to Greece and North Macedonia. This trip has a similar price point to the Balkan tour and is also quite a good deal. There will be good competition with games and great tourist spots. You can see this tour presentation here.
Australia, and New Zealand as well, are great options to combine an excellent tourist location with high quality game opponents and recruitment. Many Australian and New Zealand youth players want to head to the USA to play in college. This past season there were 88 players from the two countries on NCAA Division 1 rosters.
We can put together a tour that includes both countries or either one. The options of cities to visit include Sydney and Melbourne in Australia and Wellington, Auckland and Tauranga in New Zealand. You can view the presentation for our Australia and New Zealand tour here.
