China withstood a strong team effort by New Zealand and held on for a 75-70 win. Li Wei hit a big three-pointer in the final minute to put the margin at six and force the Kiwi’s to look for quick three’s. New Zealand had to foul China to stop the clock and the home team made their FT’s to seal the close victory.
Mini-Golden Gate Bridge
This China team will be leaving the competition and the National “B” Team will take their place for the final three nights. The “B” Team is a combination of the last players cut from the Chinese Olympic Team that will play in London and the future of Chinese basketball that will play in Brazil 2016.
