Xiaotao, China – The NetScouts Basketball USA All-Stars (4-1) got their second straight blowout win, easily running away from Canada 76-31. The squad has won their last two games by a combined margin of 74 points. Alisia Jenkins (16 points, 10 rebounds) and Brittany Crain (10 points, 12 rebounds) registered double-doubles while UCLA teammates Nicole Kornet (14 points) and Kari Korver (12 points) scored in double figures.
The USA took a 19-6 lead after one quarter and led 37-14 at halftime. The lead expanded to 54-22 after three quarters and the Americans then coasted to the win The team held Canada to single digit scoring in each quarter as the Canadians couldn’t get any easy shots against the USA defense. Canada shot 22 percent for the game. The USA All-Stars have now started to shoot well. They hit on 52 percent of their shots and made nine three-pointers including four from Kornet and three from Korver.
Point guard Ashley Clark battled foul trouble but even so she combined with fellow point Simone DeCoud for 10 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists and four steals. The USA dominated the glass with a +28 rebounding advantage and pulled down 60 rebounds, In addition to Jenkins and Crain, Kiara Kudron grabbed seven while Clark and Kornet pulled down six. Rachel Mitchell helped the interior defense with three blocked shots.

China (5-0) defeated Lithuania (0-5) 63-53 to remain undefeated. China and the USA All-Stars will battle for the title in Xiaotao in the nightcap tonight.
