The NetScouts Basketball USA All-Stars (6-2) won the title in the recent Four Nations tournament which was held in Yunyang, Dazu and Shenzhen, China against China, Lithuania and Canada. Several USA All-Star players were honored as All-Tournament selections.
Diante Watkins was named the overall tournament MVP after averaging 18.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 3.0 steals over the eight games. Watkins was named to the First Team in all the individual tournaments in Yunyang, Dazu and Shenzhen. Watkins best performance was a 30-point, 10-assist game against China in Dazu where he hit 8-of-9 three-pointers.
Javier Carter was also named to the overall All-Tournament First Team as well as to the All-Tournament First Team in Dazu and Shenzhen and to the Second Team in Yunyang. Carter averaged 15.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.5 blocks in the event.
Thomas Bropleh was named to the overall All-Tournament Second Team after averaging 11.9 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists, He was also named to the All-Tournament First Team in Yunyang and to the Second Team in Dazu.
Mardracus Wade was named to the overall All-Tournament Second Team and averaged 10.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 2,2 steals. Wade was named to the All-Tournament First Team in Shenzhen and to the Third Team in Dazu.
Will Artino averaged 8.9 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists and was named to the Third Team All-Tournament and was a Second Team All-Tournament selection in Yunyang and Shenzhen.
Julius Brooks was a second team selection in Dazu where he averaged 12.7 points and 5.0 rebounds. Brooks averaged 8.2 points and 7.0 rebounds over the entire event.
Aaron Rountree was a Third Team selection in Dazu where he averaged 3.3 blocks per game and registered a tournament high seven blocks in a win over Canada.
