The NetScouts Basketball USA All-Stars defeated the Chinese National “B” team 80-78 to advance to 6-0 on their 9-game China tour.
The USA trailed almost the entire game but found a way late to take a four-point lead and hold on for the two-point win. China came out strong building a nine-point lead late in the first quarter. The USA chipped that away to take a slim lead in the second quarter, however China banked in a three-pointer at the half time buzzer to take a 49-48 halftime lead.
The two teams continued to trade small leads throughout the second half as neither team could build any type of lead. The USA All-Stars went on a 7-0 run late in the final stanza to take a four- point lead. That run was capped off by a huge three-pointer by Anthony Gurley. Gurley led the team with 18 points. China came back to tie the score but with less than one minute remaining Lamonte Ulmer put the USA up by two with a spectacular dunk on an offensive rebound where he nearly hit his head on the rim. China had possession of the ball down two points with less than ten seconds left on the clock but failed to get off a shot as the USA escaped with a thrilling victory.
Tyler Cain has been the best player of all the teams in this tour. Stats do not show all that he does for the team. Keith Jeter has been a similar type of player. Both are leaders that do everything to win.

Question, this article states that Cain and Meter are most consistent on the American squad but From your previous articles it seems that Ulmer is. Do you when the men’s tour is scheduled to end.
