Before practice today, we head off to a “Socially Useful Activity” as it is called here!!! The team has been asked to go to the MINFA Aluminum Manufacturing Plant to tour the facility, sign autographs and entertain the company with a little bit of Basketball.

After the impromptu shoot-around with the company big-wigs, we jump back in our buses and head to a local Tea Shop. It seems this Tea Shop is one of the sponsors for the tournament here in this city. They’ve asked the team to come by so they can teach us all how to properly drink and enjoy tea, and of course, sign autographs and take pictures!!
1 more practice then the Opening Ceremonies and Game 1 vs China!
UPDATE: We won the first game, edging China 57-56. Details shortly!
