Shenzhen, China – The All-Tournament team has been announced for the tournament held in Shenzhen, China between the USA (3-0), Denmark, New Zealand and host China.
The NetScouts Basketball USA All-Stars have traveled to Nan’an for the second series of three games,
Shenzhen All-Tournament Team
MVP: Amber Moore, USA (Illinois)
Moore averaged a team-high 15.3 points per game and came up with a big 20-point, 8-rebound effort in the USA win over host China.
1. Amy Kame, USA (San Diego)
Kame played strong all-around games in all three contests for the 3-0 USA squad. She averaged 12.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.7 steals over the three games.
2. Joy Burke, USA (Arizona State)
Burke had two double-doubles in the three USA victories. She averaged 12.3 points and 8.7 rebounds and had a 17-point, 10-rebound effort in the win over Denmark.
Jesperson, headed to South Florida in the fall, was the leading scorer at the event at 16 points per game.
4. Haimei Wang, China
Wang played consistently well through all of China’s games and scored a team-high 19 points against the Americans.
5. Krystal Leger-Walker, New Zealand
Leger-Walker carried the load for New Zealand at the point against strong defensive pressure from all three other teams.
