The All-Tournament team for the PingXiang portion of the NetScouts Basketball Women’s Basketball Tour of China has been announced. The USA won all three games of the event. Here’s the All-Tournament team from PingXiang:
MVP: Aulani Sinclair, USA. Sinclair averaged 12.3 points and three rebounds in the USA’s three victories. She had a high game of 22 points against Hungary in which she hit 6-of-12 three-pointers.
All-Tournament Team:
Tijana Krivacevic, Hungary. The 6’6 center averaged 16 points and 7.3 rebounds for the Hungarians. Krivacevic demonstrated solid game with the ability to step out to 15 feet and strong post moves.
Hongpin Huang, China. The 6’6 post scored double-figures in all thee games with two games of 17 points each. She can score inside and has a nice shot out to 17 feet.
Talia Caldwell, USA. Of all the American posts, Caldwell was the most consistent, averaging 8.3 points and 5.3 rebounds showing quick feet and jumping ability in helping the USA dominate the boards in their three wins.
Alexis Gray-Lawson, USA. Gray-Lawson averaged 11 points and 3.3 rebounds. She scored 17 points against Hungary making all seven of her free throws and then hit four late points in the USA’s one-point win over China.
Olivia Thompson, Australia. The 6’2 forward averaged 10 points and thee rebounds. She came through when it counted saving her best game for Australia’s win over Hungary. In that game Thompson went for 19 points and seven rebounds, connecting on 9-of-13 from the field.
