The NetScouts Basketball USA Men’s All-Stars lost their third heartbreaking game, as Canada prevailed in a double-overtime thriller 95-93.
The USA staged a great comeback in this game. Canada jumped out to a 16-point lead after one quarter and extended the lead the 23 points at halftime. The lead moved to 26 points early in the third quarter before the USA mounted their comeback. The Canadian lead was cut to 11 points after the third quarter. Mike Moore, Robert Crawford and Isaac Butts sparked the third quarter comeback.
Devin Sweetney scored 30 points for the USA while Derek Needham added 12. The USA received excellent contributions from their bench in this game.
Canada moves to 7-0 for the event while the USA drops to 2-5 with three of their losses by two points. Canada was led by Melvin Ejim who had 14 points and 19 rebounds and Daniel Mullings who also scored 14.
