A USA Men’s All-Star Basketball team is leaving for China to participate in three games against the China National team and two games against a local Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) team. The team, organized and coached by NetScouts Basketball, will play the Chinese National Team in the cities of Xiamen, Laizhou and Tai’an. They will remain in Tai’an to play the CBA team. The team will depart from LAX on August 2nd, play their first game in China on August 6th and return to the United States on August 12th.
Kiwi Gardner
The NetScouts Basketball USA All-Stars are comprised of Kiwi Gardner, 5’7, PG, (Providence/ Santa Cruz – NBA D-League/Golden State Warriors NBA Summer League), Darren Moore, 6’3 CG (Cal-Irvine/Italy), Greg Gantt, 6’2, SG (Florida Atlantic/Austin – NBA D-League), Greg Howard, 6’5, SF (Ohio MW), Ramon Harris, 6’7, CF (Kentucky, Ft. Wayne – NBA D-League), Drew Barham, 6’7, CF (Gonzaga), Anthony Jones, 6’10, PF (Baylor/Hungary, Denmark), Kevin Kotzur, 6’9, C (St. Mary’s/Santa Cruz – NBA D-League) and Tom Granado, 6’11, C (Concordia/Japan). The team will be coached by James Andrisevic of the NBA D-League’s Santa Cruz Warriors and assisted by Ryan Johnson.
Gardner, a YouTube sensation with over 15 million video views averaged 6.8 ppg and 3.1 apg at Santa Cruz this season. In one game he scored 23 points in nine minutes.

Moore averaged 17.0 ppg and 5.9 rpg for Cal-Irvine in his senior season and scored at a 10.1 pg clip in Italy – Lega Due this season.
Gantt was Florida Atlantic’s leading scorer his senior season (21.2 ppg) and averaged 8.7 ppg for the Austin Toros D-League squad this year.
Howard played in the ABA after graduating college and comes recommended by Ganon Baker’s organization.
Harris was a rotation player at Kentucky where he averaged 5.5 ppg as a junior. He helped lead Ft. Wayne to the NBA D-League title and was a double-figure scorer in Germany Pro-A the prior season..
Barham averaged 6.3 ppg at Gonzaga this season and was one of the top three-point shooters in the nation, hitting 48.0 percent (61-of-127) of his long distance shots.
Ramon Harris
Jones averaged 8.5 ppg and 5.3 rpg as a junior at Baylor. He has since played in Hungary, Denmark and Colombia and is signed to play in Finland next season. He averaged 17.9 ppg and 9.5 rpg in Denmark in the 2012-13 season.
Kotzur averaged 17.7 ppg and 10.4 rpg in his senior year at St. Mary’s (TX) and was a solid addition to the Santa Cruz Warriors D-League team where he averaged 7.2 ppg and 5.5 rpg this year.
Granado is a true center who averaged 11.8 ppg and 8.1 rpg in Japan’s BJ League in 2012-13 and has since played in Mexico.
