Purifoy made 3-of-5 from distance. 6-6 freshman Isaac Okoro and 6-4 Jamal Johnson each added 14 points, with Johnson shooting 4-for-6 from three-point range. Okoro drew a team high nine fouls, finding success posting up and attacking the middle of the Lipscomb zone defense. Lipscomb was led by 6-1 KJ Johnson with 17 points. He made quick low post moves and finished well around the rim, but was often over-matched as a defender.
