Former LSU basketball coach, and friend of NetScouts Basketball, Dale Brown has released a new motivational book that can be ordered now from the publisher (see below for ordering information).
It’s titled Getting Over the 4 Hurdles of Life, and it identifies some of the main obstacles, or hurdles, that block our paths to success, happiness and fulfillment. It prescribes ways of dealing with and overcoming these obstacles.
Coach illustrates his key points by telling inspiring stories of people who emerged victorious though the deck seemed to be stacked against them. For instance, Albert Einstein, Steven Spielberg, Oprah Winfrey, Shaquille O’Neal, Pete Maravich, and J.K. Rowling.
With these stories, we have examples to follow to help us get over the vexing hurdles that obstruct our paths to fuller, more satisfying lives.
It has been said that this book is one of the most original, most inspiring works since Dr. Norman Vincent Peale published The Power of Positive Thinking in 1952. This viewpoint is shared by LSU and NBA Legend Shaquille O’Neal, who wrote the introduction and concluded by saying this book “is destined to change the lives of many.”
Coach Brown’s new book would make a great Christmas gift to one’s self and/or to others. To order, just go to www.acadianhouse.com and click on the cover of the book, or give us a call at (800) 850-8851, Ext. 102.
