One day after Sito Alonso was dismissed as head coach, DKV Joventut announced on Thursday that Pepu Hernandez, 52, will be the new head coach of the team for the remaining of the season, his contract runs through 2012.

The Toronto Raptors released British Power Forward Pops Mensah-Bonsu, watch for him to resurface in the Euroleague. CSKA Moscow signed Bonsu and waived Courtney Sims, former NBADL Player of the Year. Bonsu will help CSKA in the Euroleague Playoffs.
