Here is the rest of our players of the week ending December 2, 2012.
Missouri Valley– Carl Hall, senior forward, Wichita State, had two double double’s averaging 18.5 points and 10.5 rebounds this week as the Shockers won their two games.
Mountain West– Jamaal Franklin, junior, guard, San Diego State. Franklin averaged 22.5 points 8.5 rebounds and 3 assists in two wins at USC and UCLA.
Ohio Valley– Eastern Kentucky stayed perfect with a Mike Dinanno, game winner with three seconds left. He averaged 12.5 points and 6 assists this week and the game-winner earned him the player of the week.
Patriot– After having a great tournament last season highlighted by leading Lehigh to a win over Duke, C.J. McCollum has returned for his senior year and is off to a good start. He earned Patriot League player of the week by averaging 26.3 points and 3.3 assists in three games.
Sun Belt– In two wins for Arkansas- Little Rock, junior forward, Will Neighbour, from Grayshott, England averaged 13.5 points and 8.5 rebounds and had a key double-double performance against Troy.
West Coast Conference– Gonzaga has a lot of ways to beat you and one of them is Elias Harris, the senior forward from Speyer, Germany. This week he earned the Old Spice tournament MVP averaging 20.5 points and 7 rebounds in two games.
Southern– Davidson is challenging themselves by going on the road and played tough teams. Davidson’s De’mon Brooks earned player of the week by averaging 13 points and 7 rebounds and helping Davidson to their first conference win.
Summit– Western Illinois went 2-0 this week in part to senior guard Ceola Clark’s great play. He averaged 23.5 points 2.5 rebounds and 4 assists, including a game winning shot.
