Branden Dawson, 6’6 220 SF Michigan State – Stud body, athletic, needs to step up production vs. BigTen opponents
Isaiah Canaan, 6’0 190 PG Murray State – One of many small PG’s (Siva, Napier) hoping to be drafted with others already mentioned
Nate Wolters, 6’4 190 PG/SG South Dakota St. – Bigger guard option in down year for PG’s
Jared Berggren, 6’10 245 PF/C Wisconsin – Sneaky athletic. Fundamentally sound “Bo Ryan” big guy who can shoot face-up.

Anthony Bennett is from Canada too, just like Olynyk and Kabongo. Next year’s number one, Wiggins, is also from Canada.
Mark
Hi Mark. There are over 100 Men’s NCAA D1 players now from Canada and, as you’ve mentioned, some of the top rated players. The level of Canadian play has greatly improved over the last half dozen years. There will be 3 Canadian Prep teams playing in our National Prep School invitational from January 31-February 3 in RI. We had a recent Basketball Times column about the surge of Canadian NCAA players: You can read it here
Carl Berman
Sorry Mark, you are right and I failed to give him proper Canadian credit, it has now been added. However, as you’ll note from the photo, we’ve got him in a Basketball Canada uniform.
Secondly, after yesterday’s games, #60 is coming out…who should take his place? A guy from our bubble list or someone else entirely?
Chris
Chris Denker
I would be interested to see any of these individuals’ transcripts…
Kevin Walsh
After Pressey’s game I feel Jackie Carmichael deserves some credit. He’s on a bad team put is putting up some pretty impressive numbers. Only thing that drops is stock is his age though.
Greg
Hi Greg, Thanks for the note. We generally are leery of players who do well on poor teams but will watch him closely when we see him next.
