Week 4 of the Euroleague is complete. In some of the top games, Fenerbahce defeated Panathinaikos 73-64 behind 13 points from Bo McCalebb (New Orleans), CSKA Moscow remained undefeated as they ran away from Besiktas Istanbul 85-58. Nenad Krstic and Sonny Weems (Arkansas) led the winners with 18 points each. Olympiacos, led by 21 points from Vassilis Spanoulis edged Cedevita Zagreb 79-77 and Real Madrid helped by 17 points and 10 rebounds from Mirza Begic topped Cantu 80-66.
Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv, Zalgiris Kaunas and Regal Barcelona also remained undefeated. Maccabi Tel Aviv romped over Asseco Prokom 93-62 with Ricky Hickman (UNC-Greensboro) scoring 14. Zalgiris escaped with a 92-87 win over Armani Milan behind 17 points from Oliver Lafayette (Houston). Regal Barcelona also had a tight victory, 85-82 over Partizan Belgrade. PG Marcelinho Huertas had a huge game leading the winners with 24 points and 9 assists and a Performance Index Rating of 38.

Group A: Real Madrid and Fenerbahce Ulker (3-1), Panathinaikos and BC Khimki (2-2), Cantu and Union Olimpija (1-3)
Group B: Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv (4-0), Unicaja Malaga (3-1), Alba Berlin (2-2), Montepaschi Siena, Elan Chalon and Asseco Prokom (1-3)
Group C: Zalgiris Kaunas (4-0), Anadolu Efes (3-1), Armani Milan and Olympiacos (2-2), Caja Laboral (1-3) and Cedevita Zagreb (0-4).
Group D: FC Regal Barcelona and CSKA Moscow (4-0), Besiktas Istanbul (2-2), Lietuvos Rytas and Brose Baskets (1-3) and Partizan Belgrade 0-4).
The Euroleague Player of the Week was Bobby Brown (Montepaschi Siena, Cal-Fullerton). Brown led Siena to a come from behind 93-90 win over Elan Chalon with 34 points and 5 assists. He tied a Euroleague record with 15 fouls drawn and made 16 free throws, the most in a Euroleague game in over five years. His Performance Index Rating of 43 was the most in almost three years.
Other American players that stood out included: Aron Baynes (Washington State, Union Olimpija) 27 points and 10 rebounds, Deon Thompson (North Carolina, Alba Berlin) 17 points and 8 rebounds, Shelden Williams (Duke, Elan Chalon) 28 points and 13 rebounds, Keith Langford (Kansas) and Malik Hairston (Oregon) of Armani Milan with 24 and 21 points respectively and Jordan Farmar (UCLA, Anadolu Efes) 17 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists.
