St. Bonaventure senior Andrew Nicholson averaged 27.5 points and 10.0 reboundsin 2-0 road sweep for the Bonnies, SBU’s biggest back-to-back road wins (42-point differential) since 1971. Against Fordham the forward recorded his 23rd career double-double with 25 points and 11 boards.
Justine Raterman tied her career-high with 32 points in Dayton’s overtime win over Duquesne. In addition to scoring for her team, she grabbed a team-high three steals and a game-high eight rebounds.
Josh Ritchart led UC Davis to an upset win over second place Cal State Fullerton thanks to his balance play. The sophomore led the Aggies with 20 points added eight rebounds, four steals, two blocked shots and a pair of steals as UC Davis won for the fourth time in six games.
Cal Poly center and leading scorer Kristina Santiago grabbed her 14th double-double of the season in a 70-56 win over Cal State Northridge. Her 16 points and 15 rebounds were crucial in the battle between two teams vying for the Big West Tournament No. 1 seed.
Kent Bazemore averaged 28.0 points and 9.5 rebounds in ODU’s 1-1 week. The senior guard scored a career-high 37 points and tied a career high with 12 rebounds in a narrow 73-72 loss to first-place Drexel.
Delaware star, Elena Delle Donne averaged team highs of 31.5 points and 9.0 rebounds per game in conference victories over George Mason and Northeastern.
Following wins over East Carolina and Marshall, Memphis moves into sole possession of first place in the C-USA standings entering the final week of the regular standings thanks to Will Barton. The sophomore guard averaged 24.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 3.0 steals during the Tigers’ 2-0 week.
Jessica Kuster averaged 22.0 points and 10.5 rebounds per game as Rice defeated city-rival Houston, 68-40, followed by state-rival and league leader UTEP, 52-48, last week.
Keifer Sykes lifted Green Bay to a 3-0 week, helping the Phoenix win its last four conference games. The freshman averaged 17.7 points and 6.3 assists per game and has now scored double figures in ten consecutive games.
Junior forward Sami Tucker averaged 18.0 points and 10.0 rebounds in Milwaukee’s two victories last weekend as the Panthers swept their weekend conference series for the first time this season.
