This is the last part of our conference players of the week for games ending December 16, 2012.
Men: Doug McDermott, junior forward from Creighton, scored 34 points as he went 10-for-17 from the field including 4-for-7 from the three-point line and added 9 rebounds as Creighton won at California 74-64.
Women: McKenize Fujan, junior guard from Creighton, averaged 14.5 points, 2 rebounds and 2.5 assists last week. She did this in two wins for Creighton as they defeated Houston 75-54 and North Dakota State 63-42.
Men: Anthony Drmic, sophomore guard from Boise State by way of Australia, had a career high 34 points going by 6-for-10 from the three-point line as Boise State beat LSU 89-70.
Women: Chelsea Hopkins, senior guard from San Diego State, came close to a triple double when she scored 17 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists in a win against Cal Poly 73-56.
Men: Brian Williams, junior guard from Jacksonville State, had 24 points with six three-pointers and four assists as Jacksonville won in overtime against Presbyterian 66-59.
Women: Mariah Robinson, senior guard from Murray State, had 19 points and went 4-for-7 from the three-point line, 5 rebounds and 2 assists as the Racers beat Alabama AM 69-54.
Men: Joe Willman, senior forward from Bucknell, had a double double with 18 points and 12 rebounds in 34 minutes as the Bison topped La Salle 74-66.
Women: Jen Hazlett, junior forward from Army, averaged 14 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists as the Golden Knights split two games this week.
Men: Augustine Rubit, junior forward from South Alabama, had an impressive double-double with 23 points and 19 rebounds as South Alabama topped Texas A&M-CC 74-69.
Women: Alexis Govan, sophomore guard from Western Kentucky, had 20 points and 5 rebounds as Western Kentucky beat Southeast Missouri State 60-46.
West Coast Conference
Men: Kevin Foster, senior guard from Santa Clara, averaged 21 points, 4 assists and 3.5 rebounds as Santa Clara won their two games against Pacific and San Jose State.
Women: Danielle Mauldin, junior forward from Saint Mary’s, averaged 20.5 points and 9 rebounds this week as Saint Mary’s split two contests.
Men: Jake Cohen, senior forward from Davidson, had 21 points 4 rebounds as Davidson beat UNC- Wilmington 77-61.
Women: Sophia Aleksandravicius, senior forward from Davidson had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds including a key late bucket in the win over Gardner Webb 59-56.
Men: Lawrence Alexander, sophomore guard from North Dakota State, averaged 13.5 points and 5.5 assists as North Dakota State split their two games.
Women: Ashley Eide, senior guard from South Dakota State had 14 points and 5 rebounds against 11th ranked Penn State in the 60-50 Nittany Lion win.
