We’ve been following Andrew Wiggins since he starred as a 8th-grader at the National Prep School Invitational in Rhode Island. Wiggins is now the #1-rated recruit of the 2014 class.
We saw him again at the Nike Hoop Summit earlier this year when he led the World Select Team to a surprisingly easy victory over the Team USA Junior Select Team. Wiggins has always been very athletic with great body control but has added a solid shooting stroke from mid-to-long range to his arsenal. His mix tapes are pretty crazy. We thought we’d post a few and see what you think.
On the international recruiting front, Tai Webster, a 6’3 point guard from New Zealand has signed with Nebraska. Webster who averaged 14 ppg and shot over 50% playing for New Zealand earlier this summer in an Olympic qualifying event was highly recruited afterwards. Pittsburgh, Wake Forest, Virginia and LSU were among the high major programs courting Webster.
