The selections for the All Tournament Team at the National Prep School Invitational have been made.
The Most Outstanding Player award was given to Michael Carter-Williams of St. Andrew’s (RI), a dynamic 6′5 point guard headed to Syracuse. Carter-Williams scored 73 points in his two games to go along with 13 rebounds and nine assists. He only committed three turnovers. Previous winners of the award include Michael Beasley (Kansas State/Miami Heat), Jorge Gutierrez (Cal), Paul Harris (Syracuse), Dorell Wright (NBA) and Shawne Williams (Memphis)
The rest of the All-Tournament Team consists of:
Shabazz Napier, 6′0 junior of Lawrence Academy. Napier scored 37 points in his final game including on 30-foot three-pointer to tie the game with 25 seconds left and another 30-footer to win the game.
CJ Fair of Brewster Academy. The 6′7 Syracuse signed scored 46 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in his two games.
JJ Moore of the South Kent School. The 6′6 forward who is headed to Pitt, scored 51 points to go along with 12 rebounds in South Kent’s two wins.
Patrik Auda of the Canarias Basketball Academy. The versatile 6′9 forward averaged 17.3 points and 9.8 rebounds in four games.
Javerez Willis of Humble Christian Life Academy. Willis, a 5′10 point guard headed to Texas Tech, scored 25 in the win over Worcester Academy.
Jamir Hanner of NIA Prep. The 6′9 senior scored 31 points and had 21 rebounds in his two games.
Nate Lubick of St. Mark’s. The 6′8 Georgetown signee, scored 27 points including the game winner at the buzzer in the two-point win over Winchendon.
Bo Barnes of Westwind Prep. The 6′4 senior shooting guard, scored 46 points on 9-15 three-point shooting in his two games.
Bill Baron of Worcester Academy. The 6′2 point guard headed to Rhode Island, scored 55 points and had 14 rebounds and nine assists in his two games.
Majok Majok of Northfield Mt. Hermon. The 6′8 power forward from Australia came up with double-doubles in his two games and averaged 20 points and 13 rebounds.
